I've got nothing to show and not much to tell, so here's the latest meme making its way through blogland. I snagged this from misocrafty. Here's how it works: put your iPod (or other mp3 player - Bob is a fan of the Dellpod) on shuffle and list the first ten songs it plays. Don't skip anything embarrassing. I was fortunate enough not to have any of the Wilson Phillips songs which are on my iPod appear, but now I've gone and outed myself anyway. Feel free to play along if you're so inclined. It's fun!
1. The Coo Coo Bird - The Be Good Tanyas
2. City of Dreams - David Wilcox
3. I'm Sorry Now - Jude
4. Out of Habit - Ani DiFranco
5. Outta Me, Onto You - Ani DiFranco
6. Love Heals - RENT Soundtrack
7. Great Day - Eddie From Ohio
8. You Take My Breath Away - Eva Cassidy
9. Fumbling Towards Ecstacy - Sarah McLachlan
10. Draw You In - The Poem Adept

OK, that's fun, and I don't feel like working either, so here goes:
1. Why Georgia, John Mayer
2. Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk, Rufus Wainwright
3. I Alone, Live
4. Beautiful, Christina Aguilera
5. Breath (2 AM), Anna Nalick
6. Love's Divine, Seal
7. The Lucky One, Alison Krauss & Union Station
8. Sexy M.F., Prince
9. Crazy in Love, Beyonce
10. Beverly Hills, Weezer
Look at that. I'm a pop junkie. Quelle surprise.

I love Eva Cassidy. My favorite songs she recorded are "I Know You By Heart", "Songbird" and "Fields of Gold". What a voice. What a loss to the music world when she died. Wish I'd had a chance to see her perform in D.C. before she died.

Here goes:
1. Le jazz est revenu - Charles Aznavour

4. Homanaje, DeFalla - John Williams, guitar
5. The Fly - U2
6. Fields of Gold - Sting
7. It Don't Mean a Thing - Nina Simone
8. Mozart Violin concerto No.5 - Pinchas Zuckerman (Damn the audition!!!)
9. Mozart Sym. 39 - Willam Preucil Orchestral Excerpts (Ditto!!!)
10. Get it Together - Seal
If only there were a way to separate the absurd, the career driven, and the clearly occassional from the everyday. I guess that's why there are Playlists! Speaking of not working, I'm currently downloading Party Poker...
