I am older than you-does that help?

I feel your pain. I'm back at school at USF and here is an actual exchange between two of my classmates (18yo girls):
"So do you have any old people in your class?"
"Yeah, there is this one girl, she's like twenty-seven"

This is Debbie from Ravelry (pianist). Just wanting to give you a good 'ole hug and tell you that I know almost exactly how you feel regarding feeling old. Those precocious youngsters just seem to be crawling out of the woodwork, don't they. Good you have knitting to help with the come down.

PM me and keep me posted.

By the way, did you see the front page of Sunday's paper? I don't know whether to laugh or cry. (You'll understand when you look).

I hope you get good news on the audition. The upside to being in a room full of young kids is that they lack experience and perspective, leaving them stupid. Besides, you can buy your own beer...

Sometimes at auditions I feel like having a few high-energy, high-nerve kids around is helpful because I am a zen master in comparison. Other times it feels like I get infected. God bless the beta-blockers.

Congrats on auditioning!

You're definitely not old! (I know, because I am!)

And I just gave you a "You Make My Day" award!
